IRCv3 React Client Tag Specification

IRCv3 React Client Tag Specification

This IRCv3 working group specification defines how IRC clients can implement message reactions using client-only tags. It allows chat participants to respond with emoji, symbols, or emoticons as lightweight annotations adjacent to messages, rather than full messages. The spec includes support for unreacting (removing reactions) and defines the format for the +react tag used in conjunction with the +reply tag for message threading support.
